Who would have been on our list in March that would still be on it now? Leam Richardson and Des Buckingham perhaps?

This is right outside the box and I know everyone is going to say who the hell is that but he is a very good English coach born in Oxford currently managing the Hong Kong international side but has always had success wherever he has managed. Came top of his coaching class at the f.a the name is Gary white check out the cv
How did you ever come up with that name? That’s as left field as they come.

Welcome to the forum Gary 😉

If he was actually Gary, he would probably have actually known who it is he manages (Gary White is currently manager of Taiwan, not Hong Kong).

And where he was born (according to t'internet, it was Southampton not Oxford!)

Surely these “mistakes” are just to throw us off the scent

Having just watching the short interview, was it a sly dig when he mentioned about managers moving in and then being forgotten the next day?

Do you ever have anything positive to say Kip?
Not sure how that's negative Bob? In any role in any industry, if you get a "Dear John" letter where you know you are at best second choice, you're not always overly keen to make that move if they come calling later.

The point about the limited number of football roles is a fair one mind.

In any other industry if you have never applied for a position that you'd previously missed out on, you wouldn't get too far. We've probably all experienced times where we have been overlooked for promotion, rightly or wrongly. You either give up or try again, and if you're the sort of person who gives up then you're probably not the sort of manager we need.

Buckingham was on the list in March also, as well as someone else I can't remember. Was mentioned on the Dub earlier by Purkiss
Purkiss names Lee Grant, former goalkeeper, and now coach at Ipswich I think. Not long retired.
