Not saying we won't get points but tough games together , obvs Derby , Barnsley away then Charlton at home.
Cambridge not traditionally a happy hunting ground and then a still buoyant Carlisle.
To note Wycombe have been at home first game 7 seasons in a row !

I can’t remember the last time we started a League campaign at home. Chesterfield in Lge 2?
 
I like this schedule a lot. Loads of positives. A tough start but a chance to catch the better teams cold and will get us in a mindset of being at our best right from the off. The run-in looks very generous if we can hit that stretch just outside the play-off picture or better. Cambridge away is a bit of a boring first game but a good pace-setter, they're one of my favourites to go down given the players they've lost but it's a ground we tend to stink out. It's often beneficial to play the better sides together as you can set up a certain way for all of them but good squad depth now looks even more important. Can't bloody wait.
 
I’ve studied the fixture list very closely for a number of hours, applied an exacting level of probability and some scientific calculations and come to the conclusion we will win some, draw a number of games and lose the remainder.

Don't count your chickens, we all thought that in 2019/20, and look how that turned out.
 
If the Reading away game isn’t moved because of international call ups it could well end up on Sky, with no prem and champ matches they always show a few league one/two games, Wrexham will obviously be shown whoever they are playing but can’t see any other matches standing out from league one and two, the fact TVP will want an early kick off won’t bother Sky as they show matches at 12 anyway.
 
Anybody know why neither hotel by the stadium is available to book on the weekend of the Carlisle game?

I did wonder if the holiday inn was actually open as a normal hotel as whenever I walk past there on my way to the games it has the security for the migrants stood outside, don’t know if the bar is open like it used to be before games?

Personally gutted as Reading away is the same day my sister is getting married. (Literally the one Saturday I couldn’t do - always the way). So hoping TVP move that to a Friday or Sunday (sorry to everyone who would clearly prefer a 3pm Saturday KO 😉)

My sister got married on 18-06-88, I was in Frankfurt watching England get beat by the USSR at Euro88, don't think I've ever been forgiven 🤣🤣🤣
 
Does the new Sky deal come in this season❓️

If so there could be a lot of changes to this list 🙄
