Im ashamed of those in our fan base who can't manage their own short term expectations and scapegoat the manager. How quickly they forget the last 3 great seasons where 100 goals+ was almost record breaking. Why lay ALL the blame at the manager and not the players. Taylor - the biggest piece of the jigsaw to our lack of goals, Henry - looked finished - Brown -an absolute shadow of last year. Cam? - 60% the player and no one fit long enough to score goals. So when your best players and goal sources don't turn up who's to blame? Personally I dont want a risky new manager who strives foir mid table league 1 football. The current squad have not given. They need a sports psycholgist quickly but at the end of this year we begin again with a whole load of different soup ingredients and I think he has got it right 3/4 and got to be backed? Just my POV. It should never get divisive or abusive, Steve f*****g Bruce I hope not Appleton?

Yeah I agree.

Us fans are all bastards and it's wrong of us to expect our manager to learn from his mistakes. It's also wrong of us to expect our board to demand more from the budget they've given the manager and it's wrong of us to want our board to act before we have no chance to avoid relegation.

Fans OUT.

I’m going to protest against the fans by not turning up for the next game. It’s the only way they’ll learn.

You must be on LSD early tonight. You are having a laugh. Scapegoat that shower of sh*te of a manager?? The last great 3 seasons??
Who said anything about employing a manager who strives for mid table??
Do you live in the highlands per chance and only use the phone on a Saturday??
Give it a few hours and another couple of fantasists will be along, a right giggle of a double act, you could get a little whats app group going between you three.

Good god no,, that’s layering bull sh1t with more bull sh1t. If we are gonna get someone new in let’s build something
Agree we need to build, but short term we need a motivator who can get the best out of average players and keep us in league 1.

If the board grow some balls and sack Karl now and appoint a new manager or even an interim but unfortunately we still are relegated they will still have my full support and I will renew my season ticket.

If the board stick with Karl then I'm boycotting the rest of the season and next until Karl and the Board leave.

I don’t really believe he’s from Falmouth. More like the Scilly/Silly isles.

????? 3 great seasons???? And what did we win, nothing. That's not great, season after season ,has got worse. He rode his luck , his gambles & loans have caught up with him. It was obvious to anyone with an ounce of a football brain. You don't win with, crocks , old player's, loans, and not good enough. Not only that , not filling the full squad, shipping players out, backroom staff jumping ship.
YEAH GREAT MANAGER!!!!!!!

This is brilliant. You tell him!

Looking at some of the pictures of the ground during the game today, the board should be very concerned that season ticket holders are not turning up. Presumably if there is no change soon they will decide not to renew their tickets for next year.
At 0-2 down today I’d had enough and went to see my local side, Yateley United win 4-3 a Berkshire team, 1st against 2nd. Yateley finished 20points clear and next season install floodlights and instead of free admission it will now be £6.
It was such a good game I’m tempted not to go to Oxford again until Robinson is gone.
At least I saw passion and desire, something I’ve not really seen in Oxford all season

Last thing we want though is a rushed permanent appointment.

I was thinking about someone like Holloway in the short term. I would personally go with someone with a bit of experience. Their first target is to secure enough points, second target then to blood youngsters once safe and I’d also want them to produce an independent report on the playing squad / coaches for the board to review.

I‘m thinking Robbie Fowler.

He’s been hanging round the club since the summer, so will know how to get to the training ground and stadium by car. Has also been working with the forwards, so knows all their names.

Yes, Goes against the grain to ever want OUFC to lose a game, but if we're going to lose today anyway might as well make it 0-5 in the vain hope it forces a decision.
Rovers were so poor I’m surprised they scored three! So what does that say about us!

I think the incompetence of Tim Williams and the Board not sacking him at least two or three weeks ago (I’d say in November) is extremely concerning.

Not really short term is it? Been going on for nearly a year now, probably the most patient fan base in the country has finally turned on the manager after it’s become obvious to even the most fervent Robinson fan (barring yourself) that he has and is doing some some serious damage to the club.

Leam Richardson probably the stand out candidate and very much obtainable. His assistant was also James Beattie who is highly regarded.

His football wasn't impeccable but he built a solid physical Wigan side, he knows what's needed to get out of this league.

Still young with not too much experience so has plenty of potential with a decent budget.

Not the only option but would probably fire a rocket up the a**e of our current squad.
He took a terrible Wigan outfit that even we beat and guided them to the title the following season so he can clearly concoct a team in a short time and would be a good choice considering our situation.

I’m going to protest against the fans by not turning up for the next game. It’s the only way they’ll learn.
You're a braver man than me - our fans are totally unreasonable, don't ya know?!

The current squad have just not given. I blame them not the manager bit I think the back team needs changing, We are woeful at set pieces either for or against so I don't know what they are doing? They need to go. Some creative options in suits would be better than track-suited dead heads.

We need to get a sports psychologist in quickly but at the end of this year we begin again with a whole load of different soup ingredients and I think KR has got it right 3/4 and got to be backed? And relegation? No - needs a couple of days away, chat it through, positive positive positive and try and get 11 to turn up on Match day. then e have more than enough. No manager can ever win if on Match day 3-5 players simply don't turn up. Not many players in this squad have done themselves justice this year or deserved to wear the shirt.Think about that of you are the manager

Worst post I’ve ever seen on this forum. 10/10 for trolling

How about this for a management dream team:

Tony Pulis: DoF
Dean Whitehead: First Team Coach

Whitehead was Pulis’ captain at Stoke City
