Away Match Day Thread 23/04/2022 L1: Rotherham United v OUFC

We gave it a go ....just not quite enough to take it to the wire

Just checked in from Plays Las Americas to see the score. It can't be a surprise that this group failed to win a "must win" game. More backbone in an earthworm..

But it was over weeks ago bar those who believe in miracles. It's a squad and manager that are the nearly men of League 1.

We go again filled with hope. Enjoy the summer!

We gave ourselves to.much to do you don't lose 3 on the bounce at this time of the season if you want promotion I'm afraid only bit of hope now is Wycombe don't make it

"More backbone in an earthworm" - thats just crap - we fell short and questions need to be asked of Robbo and others but its not as bad as that

Sorry it we need a few new players next season, Whyte, Holland, Kane, Seddon have to go and I’m sure we could possibly lose McNally and Brannagan next season.
But has KR got it in him to take us up. Will his transfer business improve? As I said previously next season is his last unless he gets us promoted.
He’s only had one promotion in his career. Love him for his off field work but sorry no sentiments in football.

That was that then. Transfer window, anybody?
He needs to get his a**e out of his head and forget going on about how Herbie can turn a match with one pass…..he can’t get rid of the ball which is easier than a pass but that’s KR for you

top sides dont really score lots of goals against each other do they?
Not normally, but when we're set up to attack almost with the knowledge that we will concede at least one, we can't afford to be toothless up front.

In our last 7 games, we've scored:

1 vs Ipswich
0 vs Plymouth
1 vs Morecambe
1 vs Sunderland
3 vs Fleetwood
1 vs MK Dons
1 vs Rotherham

That's 8 goals scored, and 10 conceded.
