There's a hint there!Ah but I rather keep that close to my chest rather than ruffle any feathers.
Ruffels returning on loan?!?

Thereâs a 100% chance that Bazzer canât post a comment without making a spelling or grammatical error
Canât understand where youâre coming from with this at all. If the game yesterday shows us anything itâs that KR has done a great job of getting committed players that completely buy in to the success of the club - they may have their own private agenda but good on them for being ambitious as long as they give us 100% while theyâre here. Weâre a club that helps players on in their career - but they have to apply themselves. The minute he senses Sykes is out for himself, he wonât play. But yesterday we completed the double against a team thatâs done what youâre suggesting.KR is in narnia if he thinks players choose the shirt over their contract terms.
I sometimes think he's hopelessly niave in a cynical football world.
For eg. Mark Sykes, if he signs a less lucrative contract will have to potentially forge a career away from footy. We all know a bad injury, or falling out of favour can change everything in a heart beat.
If you rate the player enough to be at the club... Show him the money. Simple.
Nothing better than a grammar pedant messing their grammar up!Nice full stop at the end of that sentence Ewes.
Yes, it was. He's burnt his bridges with NI, who were furious with him. And the ROI 'interest' turned out to be nothing concrete. I'd be surprised if he ever made an ROI squad. In fact, I would bet a few bob that McNally will play for ROI, but Sykes never will.Wasnt it his agent who advised & engineered him to switch from NI to Ireland in international allegiance....which was oh such good advice for the player (not) .....Sykes' agent is an absolute idiot
think you could well be right re ROI ..... shame Sykes has got an absolute numpty as his agent ..... that said, there's a lot of idiots masquerading as football agentsYes, it was. Sykes has always had potential but lacked consistency and end product. The last few months he has begun to show both. It's a shame it's come about in the last year of his contract so will be in demand. I don't know whether we need to look at our contract lengths? We often seem to sign young potentially good players on 3x year contracts. They take a year to bed in, start to develop in their second year and then attract interest and then in the last year really come good when they are in danger of going for nothing at the end of the season. I guess it's about balance though because on the other hand, there are the Jamie Hanson's who are on lengthy contracts who nobody will be interested in and who hardly plays.Yes, it was. If youâre a talksport listener and have ever heard Simon Jordan talk about agents, itâs excellent therapy!!think you could well be right re ROI ..... shame Sykes has got an absolute numpty as his agent ..... that said, there's a lot of idiots masquerading as football agents
Is he definitely being recalled? How soon? It's now?
Possibly, judging by KRâs comments. Could just be a case of bigmouth strikes again, of course.
You mean "Messing up their grammar". Do not end a sentence with a preposition.Nothing better than a grammar pedant messing their grammar up!
My main hope is that Liverpool don't come attempting to poach him.
I couldn't bear another deal around Ray Houghton.
...Oi'll get me coat.
Letâs be honest unless your from oxford and have supported the club since a kid. Itâs no ones dream to play for oxford. That being said I think his point is a Brannigan type of player/person. Passion and respect for the shirt and if you want to progress do it with top performances etc and. Not throw fits when when offered a little bit more money else where. We look after players I think he just wants a little bit of loyalty back from playersKR is in narnia if he thinks players choose the shirt over their contract terms.

Stockton surely wonât come here if Championship sides are looking at him. He can get double what we would offer at least
Wish Sykes was staying and Moore goingâŚLike I said earlier in the thread. We wanted Browne on a perm. Was very close to happening. Charlton must have come in late. Although thatâs still not completed I believeâŚ
We have not been after Findley. Weâre looking at a young centre back. Expecting Thorniley to be recalled this week, if so, happy with McNally playing more often.
Defoe is no where near done. But we are 1 of 2 clubs with a real chance. Not sure of the other.
Again something I posted a good few weeks back, still being told Moore is here next season. Sykes has turned two contracts down.
Stockton is a new one. Not heard that one
This is such a good point. Objectively, Oxford is a tough sell. Sky high prices for everything Not justified by quality of life. The city centre for example has nothing much going for it in terms of bars, restaurants, music venues etc.Letâs be honest unless your from oxford and have supported the club since a kid. No, I meant messing up and I'm sure everybody else understood my sentence too, whether grammatically correct or not. That's the issue I have with grammar pedants, they don't seem to understand that the basic role of language is communication between people and as long as both parties understand what is being communicated, what is is the issue with some minor grammatical errors? You mean "Messing up their grammar". Do not end a sentence with a preposition.
No itâs not, itâs grim up North, location location location, you get what you pay forThis is such a good point. Objectively, Oxford is a tough sell. Having just taken the plunge myself and moved North, the quality of life for the same money is much better and goes much further. The housing costs in Oxfordshire are scandalous and if I'm a footballer looking at the next 2-3 years it would be a major consideration.
It's a real quandary.
