Come on ! That pineapple chant isn't offensive. The worlds gone so f****** soft if anyones offended by that ! The keeper looked like he was a bit heavy in the midriff and the crowd let him know, is that offensive ! If it is then just remove the word ‘banter’ from the dictionary. I didn’t feel any chants today were overly offensive.
The word ‘banter’ should be removed from the dictionary. It’s a refuge for the ignorant, the unfunny and the unjustifiable.

you don’t get it do you, you are not commenting on the fact the goalie is wearing pink. You are associating wearing pink with being gay and using it in a derogatory manner - using gay as an insult. It’s completely unacceptable and thinking it’s unacceptable is not going soft or being ‘woke’ it’s just not being homophobic.

Didn't Jack Stevens wear a pink goalie kit once? Don't get that chant one bit as not only are you associating pink with being gay but it's said in the context that being gay is wrong which obviously it isn't.
Some of our fans need to go back to school or stay away from the grounds.

Whenever we have a big game you get weird people turning up who appear to be there mainly to drink and cause trouble. They don’t seem to realise the world has changed and won’t be changing back.

The problem is that these are the “occasional fans” that we quote as being part of larger crowds for the future. Maybe we need a “nobhead stand” in the new stadium.

Got to say I'm getting rather fed up of our consistent inability to beat high pressing / physical teams. Shows a severe lack of learning from past mistakes and poor planning by never having a plan B. McGuane, Sykes and Brannagan combination in MF was never going to work against Wycombe. None of them have an ounce of physicality to their game.

The fact of the matter is that unless these issues are addressed RIGHT NOW in the transfer window then we will not have a shred of hope of promotion this season. As we will be looking to drop points every other game. And it will be yet another failure by KR, as ultimately the buck stops with him.

We can't keep going into every game with the exact same tactics, and hoping and praying the opposition team hasn't done any homework on how to beat us, or hasn't the squad to.

I posted 2/3 months ago about the colour pink and back in the 60’s but probably more so in the 70’s you got ridiculed if a guy wore oink but then in the 80’s it was more common place and has been ever since dam I’ve got a couple of pink shirts and even at my age I think I look pretty smart when wearing them, do I think I’m Gay wearing a pink shirt? No I don’t is there fella stood by me who is wearing a pink shirt gay? I don’t know and don’t give a dam if he is. So chanting at someone being gay because of the couloir of their kit is pathetic and very childish. I’m sure if clubs look into this issue and identify the culprits responsible and called them out as bigots then tell they’re banned, it should go some way into preventing this appalling behaviour.
Pink shirts are my favourite colour - I have a wide variety for work and love wearing them - surprisingly and sadly you still find some people (male & female) who express surprise etc - should get over themselves

Got a lovely short sleeved pink shirt with bicycles on it, looks great on a sunny day.

Bit harsh on CB but correct about the other two - and Sykes is a hothead to boot

Sorry but we only edged the first 20 minutes ,as soon as Wycombe woke up they were far superior and looked like they could go up a gear if need be. If the Holland chance went in it might of been a different story but that's saying the same as Taylors penalty against Cheltenham. 1 point out of 3 games isn't play off form and unless we get some bodies through the door to strengthen us I can only see us slipping out the race for promotion.
I'm really not sure how you can go up a gear when your game plan is to repeatedly punt the ball diagonally into the channels?

Yes seem to remember that too

Those very same stewards are on duty at our home games. They cover both clubs on alternate days.
I had a very constructive, and informative conversation with two of those "slug-headed, cabbage brained stewards" prior to kick off and was impressed by their attitude towards all fans.
What was disgusting was the reaction of many of our "fans" who deemed it necessary to attempt to enter the field of play in order to confront one silly person. Such was their anger they couldn't manage to climb over the barrier.
I thought, as did Mrs Lounger, that the fireworks were a very good display and impressive in what they must have cost.
Our own OUFC stewards I have seen at Wycombe away games in the away end, I’m sure the other stewards who were on duty in the home ends aren’t employed by OUFC but are an outside agency contracted to steward at OUFC games and Wycombe as well. Watching it back the idiot running from the home end to the away end it appears he wasn’t apprehended until he got to within the penalty area and by stewards from the away end, so what about the what we’re they called “ slug heads “ slug heads they may not have been but pace wise there were as fast as slugs.
Now when Seddon rightly or wrongly tried to apprehend the idiot when Wycombe players intervene was that to get Seddon off or to help?

I used to wear a pink shirt on a night out and still have a couple of sports wear items that are pink so not sure why people associate pink kits with the gay community. Think oxford should have a pink away kit next season just to prove a point.

Every football club has its share of morons - it reflects society - if our society were perfect would reality tv dross like Geordie Shore & Living the Dream get airtime

Whilst on the subject of chants that aren't acceptable (or in good taste), I've noticed that many games recently a chant referring to a random opposition player being called a sex offender. I think it started at Sunderland when Adam Johnson was the named player (albeit ex-player) but it has continued since and makes me cringe each time I hear it.

They didn't need to go up a gear as we didn't score.

I'd give my left nut for some of the absolute units in the Wycombe squad to bully opposition players, who also have the quality and intelligence to keep the ball away from danger areas. Also that Mehmetti fella was class, we looked to s**t ourselves whenever he ran at Sam Long. He never looked to break a sweat also.
