Quick question for the Karl out brigade who would you replace him with.
Someone who doesn't prowl the lines drinking coffee as after lincoln away he was at it again today. As a life coach in noddy land it just doesn't cut it for me. I have always preferred an animated gaffer and unfortunately our resolve or lack of it is now showing. Get back to basics KR or else you will not even see the first sod of grass dug! Today's performance was littered with clusters of mutiny.

Nevertheless, I still believe with a Browne investment and with Tuesdays forthcoming meeting I can forsee only good things and that we'll probably face Wickly Wanderers again in the near future where a certain fellow called Browne will put right what was wrong.

Now, for the game. Wickly probably deserved their three points today through being a collective hardworking dour unit and when we didn't put away our first half chance that was probably the defining point in this huge huge match for the misfits in quarters. However, we could of played on for another hour without troubling their net it was that simple. Nevertheless, even after defeat we have probably more to look forward to than they can ever dream of.

When did Browne actually last play? Has he played in last last 4 months because whilst fully fit then great but we have 20 games and question how much of an impact he could have.More importantly I would like us to bomb Winnall and sadly Agyei out and sign anAndy Caroll type to help Taylor out.

I’m sure others witnessed the embarrassing antics of a small section of our fans fighting amongst themselves 😳🙄

There were people who just stood in the aisles down the front, blocking the view for kids. When asked politely to move just got back abuse.

Wished the performance on the pitch was worth writing about…

Thoroughly crap day out.

Well, that was all very predictable. Started well, but allowed Wycombe to overrun us in midfield. Obita and McCleary are still very good operators, Wycombe , as always under Ainsworth, were very well-drilled and physical. The football is effective but dreadful to watch. Only consolation is that I don’t have to go to Adams Park again for a while- my second least favourite ground, after the Ka$$am. We would have beaten a mid table team today, and at least that was a better performance than at Lincoln. Not sure McGuane is going to make it. Nice touches and little twists and turns don’t change games, and for a big man, he’s knocked off the ball far too easily. I’m not a huge fan of Thorniley. He’s ok, but gets pushed around by the better forwards in this league. Still think we’ll be in or around the play offs at the end of the season.

McLeary surprised me, he was very good. Thought his best days were behind him - they probably are - but he’d walk into our starting line up on that performance. Obita was less effective but still better or as good as anything we had.

Some dickhead pushed a bloke down the stairs for leaving early too, ended up falling into about 5 different people, literally for no other reason than he was annoyed someone would dare leave early

Today was as bad as I can ever remember our fans being
Just to the left of the goal about half way up?

I noticed something had happened there as one of a group of young twenty somethings was having a go and firing a few fs to some fans a few rows down. Not pleasant.

The problem is that they are at every club it needs to be sorted the stewards should be doing a better job.

I used to hate that about away games when fans standing had such little respect for kids. My lad is 6’ 1” now so no longer a problem but there was a young boy, probably 6 or 7, in front of me today who’s view was totally blocked by ‘fans’ oblivious to the fact he couldn’t see any of the game. Beer and ego is a combination that brings out the very worst in a lot of twattish fans.

More concerning than the defeat today for me, is the fact that Karl felt the need to call out his players after the game. Saying if you don’t want to be here, come and see me! Nothing worse for a fan, to start thinking some of the players don’t give a s**t.

I assume he was referring to Holland and Sykes ? I have no problem with that, he’s spot on. They were individualistic performances to say the least.

The homophobic abuse from one individual in our end towards the goalkeeper for wearing pink was just embarrassing. Also the Pineapple chant needs to stop, I know it's a joke but to the wrong ears could be quite racist.

Come on ! That pineapple chant isn't offensive. The worlds gone so f****** soft if anyones offended by that ! The keeper looked like he was a bit heavy in the midriff and the crowd let him know, is that offensive ! If it is then just remove the word ‘banter’ from the dictionary. I didn’t feel any chants today were overly offensive.

You’re perfectly happy with little kids repeating the chant ‘Akinfenwa’s a sex offender’ then?

Well said 👏🏻

The scrap came about due a ‘fan’ near me constantly shouting at the stewards and giving Eastwood a barrel of abuse for no reason known to me 🤷‍♂️

He also moaned when the minutes applause took place and as the ball was out of play some players joined in. He didn’t appreciate the players stopping to take part 😞

He got told to shut up and get behind the team, which he didn’t appreciate so walked a few rows back to get in a scrap 🤷‍♂️

A strange breed.

What age are these little kids ? I, personally, don’t have a problem with it. The chant isn’t the worst you’ll hear and there’s a rhyming slant to it. I’ve been taking my lad to football since he was 4, he’s 16 now. He never ever swears in my, his mums or his siblings company - that includes at football matches. Whether or not he does with his mates at school I don’t know but I assume these ‘little kids’ you’re referring to were there with their parents ? Message to the parents - Have a f****** look at yourselves if you’re allowing your ‘little Johnny’ to participate in chanting of that nature.

Exact reason why all stadiums should have a standing section home and away as well as seating for both. Not everyone wants to go to a game and stand for 90 minutes.

Easty will divide opinion because of the cock up at Wembley that cost us, I don’t think it warrants barracking but there will be some who forever hold it against him. I think these random minutes applause are a nice touch that momentarily unite the entire ground, although I’m not a fan of the players joining in during play - as they did today.

I’m yet to witness a goal being scored during one of these applauses but my guess is your opposition fan will revert to type in that instance and show what he/she really considers to be important - which of course it isn’t but would show how emotive and consuming supporting your football team really is.

I agree, it was very embarrassing that, when the Wycombe fan ran towards us, lots of our supporters, most of whom were grown men, decided to rush forward and tried to climb over the hoarding to what, try and get to him?! Fight him on the pitch?! Kicking the boards and yelling and stamping their feet is going to make a difference is it?! It was ridiculous. So what if he's running towards us giving us some 'abuse'? It's not affecting or hurting us in any way, it's just embarrassing for him, his own club and for football in general. We should be able to be bigger than that.

This element within our support are not our true supporters, they are just lashed up big kids who only come for the chance of a dust up, and as a result bring immense shame to our club.

The Ainsworth chant did happen but the truth is not many people joined in, and I reckon most of our fans were thinking that he's not actually that bad (dress sense aside!) and that actually he knows how to set a team up correctly, motivate them and gets them to play to their strengths, yes it's not pretty but it's effective and gets them the results. Whereas our manager has no plan B, talks the talk but is often left wanting and waffling.

Ironically when Wycombe played it round they looked ok, but the constant long ball tactic must be a bit depressing for their fans to watch. When we played it around we also looked ok in flashes but yet again our cutting edge was nonexistent,

I think we need four players - definitely LB cover, a big hard beast of a CB (Thorniley is too short and got found out in the second half), a more mobile CDM (yes I know there's not many on our budget but we need someone!) and a big burly striker - MT had a poor game today, Taffazoli was all over him every time, the ball very rarely stuck upfront and he became too isolated as usual.

We're not a bad side but we're having a bad run and I think we have to be careful a rot doesn't set in otherwise we could find ourselves detached from the play off positions.

Been working today but just checking in on @bazzer9461 who's having his usual meltdown!
Just being honest you ought to try that sometime, we haven’t got the players we need to get us through, Taylor is knackered hasn’t been at the races for the last 3 games but no competition well competition of any worth. Midfield weren’t at the races today like the last 3 matches. Sykes playing for himself, Robbo calling out players, 1 point out of a possible 9 and in 2 weeks time it could be 1 point in January.
If we don’t go up this season how much more time do you give Robbo.

So homophobic abuse directed towards the opposition keeper for wearing a pink shirt is ok is it? Give me strength.
