Hanson MOTM for me

Yep, was thinking exactly the same just before he came off. Ran his socks off, had a point to prove and did his best to prove his doubters wrong. Didn't shy away from anything, and was unlucky that Kane's careless pass to him lead to the goal.

EDIT - Lack of gametime was showing in his legs, which is why he had to go off. Long possibly edges MOTM as be lasted the whole game, but had Hanson been able to maintain that beyond the 80 then I would say it's his for sure.

Eh? Adequate at best. I assume the only reason you said he was MOTM was because he wasn’t actually entirely hopeless. Still doesn’t look anywhere near L1 standard. His distribution is terrible. Don’t confuse trying hard with being good enough.

Agree, I said I never wanted to see him an Oxford shirt again after the rovers game but maybe I was wrong, he had a great game at right back and play like that again on Saturday he may have clubs asking for him in January.

Hard to say the keeper worked well, as (other than the goal, which he couldn't have done much about) he punched away one corner and picked up 2 daisy cutters from outside the area that went straight down his throat. Fleetwood never really challenged him, so hard to judge him on this performance.

Think he was better than entirely hopeless, had a decent game and i`m pleased for the lad but nowhere near being MOTM imo.
