When you see the team news you realise how little scope there is to change anything

Blaming recruitment is OTT because they couldnt have foreseen the Atkinson, Mous, Brannagan and Gorrin injuries. Thats a third of a team with 3 of them being key players and one key cover! Any team would struggle with these injuries. But i do wonder how much the deals to bring in Taylor, re-sign Brannagan etc took out of the budget, as important and ambitious as they were.

A squad cap of 22 in a league with a huge amount of games, three cups (one with a group stage!) is so ridiculous it’s like the people who proposed it have literally no clue what the hell they’re doing... Oh and when it drops to 20 you can count another two players permanently out!!

I agree but i think the idea is its supposed to encourage clubs to use their U21s which are exempt from the cap (bearing in mind of course that EFL:youth programs were decimated by EPPP!).

Nervous about tonight, if we lose this one in the traditional way of having more of the ball but doing nothing with it and then giving a couple of soft goals away then it’s hard to see a way out of the trouble we are in.

Also nervous that I won’t get to watch the match with the new system on ifollow.
