Don’t think socially distanced football matches are a problem.
Don’t think in the current climate they’re necessary or possibly very helpful. Think they’re a needless risk and will end up making people get a little bit too comfortable. With what is going on right now I have concerns about people feeling too relaxed - everybody should be particularly vigilant.

We’ve got a million threads on covid without this one disappearing down the rabbit hole, so I will keep my opinions for those instead of cluttering things up. I sincerely hope that anybody going on Boxing Day enjoys their experience, and witnesses a good win.

Realistically nobody should be going to football matches. I don’t think they ever should have been, but we are where we are.
I am really not sure that small numbers of socially distanced supporters outside has been a problem at all.
Whether that will change who knows but I seen reason at all why no supporters should have been let in at all.
