EFL - The Covid-19 decision

I would guess that the 4 clubs that didn't vote for curtailment were Oxford, Peterborough, Sunderland and Tranmere.

Being reported as Ipswich rather than Oxford. So after all the hate towards Wycombe, Oxford, Portsmouth and Fleetwood all voted to curtail the season, but are happy to play in the playoffs.

As a Wycombe fan, those U-Turns are funny on a number of levels.

I'd of expected more, especially Pompey?

I thought Ipswich was also over of the team's spearheaded by Peterborough?

Rubbish, Oxford have said all along that they wanted to play out the remainder of the season, they had nothing to gain or lose by changing their stance. The only two clubs to really benefit from this decision were Rotherham and Wycombe, neither teams would have finished anywhere near where the PPG League predicted that they would finish.

Worth a punt that surely.

Also worth noting that Fleetwood’s chances are rated higher because of their perceivedly easier semi final. We’re probably still considered the second best side. I’d agree Pompey are probably favourites though. They were steadily coming into their own over the year.

One thing that has struck me as really important is the players getting used to playing in an empty stadium. A lot of players from other clubs are saying that they are playing practice games 11v11 in their stadiums to get used to the ‘emptiness’. I guess thats a disadvantage we’re going to have to put up with. I cant see good old FK letting us practice at Grenoble Road..
I don't see why he wouldn't. He gets more rent if we make the Championship.

Don't we have an agreement for so many days stadium use a season? If that's the case, we are probably owed quite a few days usage.

Agree, surely we voted to play on? We made a big deal out of it, so it would be disappointing and contradictory if we changed our stance at the last minute.
