There was a Man Utd fan on the radio last year who said "obviously everyone knows it's been an incredibly difficult time to have been a Man Utd fan these past few years".
That was my old radio on account of being thrown against the wall.

Gig Ticket Websites. Typical scenario: Tickets on sale 9am. Site crashes 8:59:59am. Site back up 9:02am. All tickets sold. But you can go to an "affiliated" site and buy them for 4 times the price.

Internation post tracking numbers ....you pay a bit extra for peace of mind (& insurance) for an item you've purchased mail order from abroad to be electronically tracked. And once said item is cleared by UK customs, the electronic tracking stops. I know 100% that said item isn't awaiting transport to distribution depot, despite that being exactly what the tracking site claims, which is what it has been claiming for 26 hours now

That stuff annoys me and is in part why I've nigh on given up going to gigs. I refuse to fund the secondary market in that way just because they have technology to skim tickets from the seller. I notice that some bands are now doing a pre-sale for fans that spend a certain level on the new album, etc, to ensure the more loyal fans get a chance to get the seats/standing they want. I believe Jay Zed released some tickets on a recent tour for around $6 to discourage the touts, while hiking the price up VIP tickets.
I hope the law the Govt has talked about comes in. It should be illegal for second markets to get that amount of tix so quickly. In fact, those sites should be prohibited from buying those tickets directly anyway.
