Cheering things about autumn

Autumn means we’re only months away from the new Transfer Window thread.

We planted three fruit trees last December and prayed that they would survive. The apple tree, to our amazement produced blossom and then fruit! Sadly, all the fruit was affected by a blight and we ended with nothing. But, roll on next autumn and we'll be picking our won! (The other two are plum and pear)

Just today we enjoyed tasting a windfall from our Cox's tree. Not quite ripe but nonetheless, a wonderful feeling knowing it came from our tree.

Harvested some plums from the somewhat neglected plum tree in the orchard. Most pleasing.

It might need a bit of TLC to increase its productivity.
