Best performance of the season. We made them look average. No one had a bad game and crowd up for it. Loved the Hanson tackle and Mackie’s overall shithousery.

As for our esteemed owner that was a load of old waffle wasn’t it? Good questions by Jerome though.

At least Tiger fronted up I guess. But overall not very informative.

He knew Jerome was going to ask difficult questions but was still full of bullshit, hmrc give you a deadline to pay as ever, they don’t give you a deal.

Good to know that it’s not just Gavin Whyte’s tackle that is making the headlines this week.

Just seen the highlights.

I hadn’t realised how badly the pitch is starting to look again beneath the South Stand..

Have to admit that struck me as well when I saw the highlights. You don't see that from the East Stand.

I see the BBC still don't like us! Beat the nr 1 and then their report placed as 8th.

What happened with guy who got thrown out the north stand, was he a Pompey fan?

There was a group of Pompey fans in the north stand and even a lad in a Pompey jacket and hat with them. Now thankfully nobody said anything to the lad but what were these people thinking of letting him wear that in the home fans section it could cause problems!

Tim, re; your post match comments on Radio Oxford. I baffled as to why you thought there is money at the club e.g. Tiger, as his actions and latest comments would appear he bounces (sorry nothing to do with Tigger or cheques) from one none payment scenario to another.

Additional, I’ve heard that certain suppliers/contractors working at the training ground for example haven’t been paid and refuse along with other providers to do further works unless they’re paid in advance, and lots of basics works at the training ground aren’t able to be done through no funds. Obviously I hope this isn’t true, so my conclusion is that there isn’t any money at the club or should I say it appears that Tiger hasn’t got readily available funds, so I hope you’re right and I’m wrong.

At the game.

Hanson looked very poor and low on confidence early on. Nearly gave a couple of goals away. Improved later on though.

Portsmouth look very poor, can barely pass the ball. We look dodgy at the back on the long ball over the top though, as ever.

How was their striker not sent off for the elbow on Hanson? From the SSU, halfway line, it looked blatant. Maybe Hanson’s seeming acceptance of it and the other Oxford players muted reaction saved him.

If we can keep hitting them on the counter with our wingers, we will do well.

Just reading thru, don’t think it was an elbow tbh?

Sean. I have no inside knowledge about what is going on - does anyone? However we have already bought in 3 players in the window with more to come and there is no fire sale planned - yet - of our major playing assets. Eastwood, Nelson and Whyte. If we were really up against it they would have been flogged by now.

So you shouldn’t be baffled - and have a nice day.

I haven't heard anything and know nothing but this it what we were speculating about on the way home. To me it looked like playing the system by using the slow HMRC process to by some time to pay for training ground costs in order to prevent (for example) us being locked out of it. But as I say, I know nothing and this is pure guesswork. I wasn't that clear about things after Tiger's interview either but didn't really expect to be.

I read the Pompey fans forum last night and they all seem to agree that we wanted it more, played the better football and most of all had more “shithousery” in our game than they did.

Oh and a lot want there manager gone.

Having a glance through Pompey's forums, I was amused by a few of the Pompey lot complaining about our sh*thousery. Especially as there wasn't any timewasting outside of what usually happens in a game.

They conveniently forget their team doing the same things (ie. Kicking the ball away when a free kick or throwing, blocking quick free kicks etc), then add in Lowe's late (and from a distance nasty) challenge on Hanson and their no 14 will his regular niggly fouls (even after a warning from the Ref).

I'm glad we have something about us now (although maybe Mackie has to focus less on this aspect as explained in a previous post) and that opposition teams/fans don't like the sh*thousery. That said, there wasn't any real difference yesterday between the teams maybe apart from Lowe's challenge.

KR scouting up in Scotland, Belgium and the Netherlands apparently in the next few weeks.

More confusion over scouting. Are the scouts providing him with the reports and KR is going to see them himself?

Scouts?!? Do we have any!? When a bloke from the Mail does some scouting you know you’re in the s**t!!

Ref the pitch, yes it did look a state even from the east stand, but what is more pertinent is that it looked a state even though a boot had not set foot on it in anger since 29th December !

Are the pitch maintainers locked out by our custodian?

Have a good day too.
