Home Match Day Thread +++ 19/01/2019 OUFC v Portsmouth Matchday Thread +++

I thought about going today and last saw Plymouth. I used t9 have a season ticket and travel to away games from Chelmsford.
I’m certainly feeling s lot more optimistic after today

When the ball is played into Mackie's feet, he looks a good player and provides a very good link for the rest of the team. He has good control of the ball at his feet and is difficult to knock off it, composed and he can spot a pass like the 2nd goal

When the ball is played in the air to him, Mackie seems purely focused on the physical challenge with the defender and seems to forgot the ball and so commits lots of fouls. The game seems to pass him by as he focuses on the physical battle.

We had far more of the former today which was helped by teammates playing the ball into his feet. The way he brought Jordan Graham into the play on a couple of occasions was superb.

Yes ,John Westwood mr Pompey .

That is spot on.

Graham was unreal today him, Whyte and Brannagan were causing Pompey various issues. Hanson solid had there 11 in his back pocket and that tackle on the half way line was superb. Everyone wore there heart on their sleeve and we deserved that today and that was the best performance this season.

Mackie's best game for us!

Spot on

Exactly that

What a knob end, how embarrassing, they love him I’d be shamed if he was anything to do with the yellows.
Not sure why you would be ashamed...this guy has been going home and away forever and through thick and thin ... proper loyal fan.

Pretty sure that’s the first time he’s been to ours in a while... not heard that bell for years!

Cat in the hat? More like tw@t in the hat... ;) Ringing a bell in a tuneless manner wasn't endearing in the 1990s and sure as hell hasn't got any better since.
