I can see a few problems, ignoring the obvious one, that they seem to have the wrong bit of land.

Are they trying to suggest that after the stadium is built, there's a possibility that the canal tow path may be used as a film set for Football Factory 2

Their assertion that their opposition is based on a whimsical, sentimental notion of greenery is a sham. The above are their true reasons for opposing OUFC’s move to anywhere remotely near them.

I guess we'll see if those prejudices are institutionally held over next next year or so.
