He was a bit of an idiot to say the least, a massive Man United fan who constantly said they were going to rule the world once the Qataris took over.
I believe he eventually got banned after becoming too much of an idiot even by the standards of this forum.

If he was still posting now then he would make even some of Kip’s comments seem sane!

He wasn’t to bad on Oxford when he had Man U and the Qataris to rant on about, think I remember some randomness about how his son could never be gay as he played golf or some such nonsense.

Teams pay for potential, plus attackers go for a lot more than defenders. Tyler isn’t the finished article but he is already easily worth between 2.5 & 3 million quid.
Plus a player is worth what a club say he is, if TG is the difference between championship football (an extra 7-10 million in revenue) or staying in league 1 then the club aren’t going to let him go for peanuts.

The fact he won’t be going anywhere does mean this conversation is slightly pointless.
Isn't Goodrham the future as we march on to the Championship and the new stadium ? Isn't this the vision of our owners? Surely we are not going to sell the best home produced player we have had for years just to make a couple of million quid. That's pocket money to them. They have a vision and Goodrham must be part of that.

Ah yeah, the comments of how is son wasn’t gay…that was another strange episode of the yellowsforum soap opera.

How can you watch Goodrham week in week out and come to the conclusion he’s worth just 1m? He’s scoring ridiculous goals on a regular, he’s 20 years old and he’s just signed a long term contract. In this market and in the middle of the season, I’d want 2.5m MINIMUM. Let’s show some backbone for once and not get pushed over.
Some people on here need to get of the wacky backy.
We've just signed a 21 year old striker for 400k.
You think a 20 year old winger is going to command a fee around 2.5m.
As for 4m, people are living in cloud cuckoo land.
A dose of reality is needed.

The difference is that winger has proven himself far more than the striker, and has had 1,5 years of good football, goodwin has had just .5

Unfortunately every club at our level is a selling club and someone bigger will want your best talent.
It’s been part of our model for a good few years now, look at players like Roofe, Rothwell, Dickie, McNally, Baptist, O’Dowda, Atkinson, Fosu.
Since 2016 we have received £19.48million in transfer fees. Our club, with very very little income streams, rely on player trading.

On the flip side, in the same period we have spent a total of £1.86million and £465k was on Goodwin and £225k on Cam Bran.

He's quality and we have precious little of that. If we were to sell him we would only have to spend the money on a replacement of unknown quality. We're not a feeder club so that other clubs can prosper. If that were the limit of our owners ambitions, what are they building us a multi million pound state of the art stadium for?

Dont sell then.

Maybe Dale was signed as the Goodrham replacement. (Just sayin'.)

They still never bought the club.
