Transfer News January 2021/22 Transfer Window

From. Peterborough friend......."Wouldn't be surprised if Szmodics was close to being done. MacAnthony is a power freak and if you cross him or want to leave his team for instance, he'll mess you and others about playing the big man. He'd rather break a player sometimes than lose face. Ask Marcus Maddiston".

Can you believe it. Just gone 7:30am and no signings.

The club are slipping.

Can you imagine the meltdown on here, if we sign nobody today. I think it might be on par with Sunderland’s forum. πŸ˜‚

If so, then a bit stupid aren't they? As surely the acceptable price now is far more than it was before buyout clause lapsed.

We don’t know what the offer is - or even if there is one.

It still may be under the release clause which has expired anyway. If so, then once again Blackpool are wasting their own and our time.

Seriously, Tangerines, anything less than seven figures and Oxford United will not listen.

I’m sure any bid will include Thorniley

If BFC continue to offer below the price they know to be acceptable, one can only conclude that they’re doing so in a flimsy effort to placate their fans.

β€œWe tried so hard, stick with us”

If Blackpool are serious they would have to pay WAY OVER the clause for United to accept the bid. I can't see them doing that or Cam going anyway unless it was a top Championship Club or a Premier League club came in and it was a mega deal.

They could have possibly got him on the cheap if they'd had not pissed around.

Hopefully the board will re-negotiate Brannagan's contract to either remove, (unlikely), or increase the clause ready for the next wave of speculation in the summer.

If it is true then it's completely brainless from Blackpool. Its pretty clear our valuation is higher than the release clause they could have had him for so they'd have to to well above what they were offering before.

Apparently they put in a pretty derisory offer for Norburn as well, it seems like they're trying to do things on the cheap which ironically could cost them half a million or more if they do sign Brannagan.
