I'm curious to know, what is our most expensive January window in history?
Probably 2018, when we signed CB and Dickie

I imagine retraining as a teacher, or driving a van for his cousin's business, or maybe a part-time accountant? We could really do with an Ahmed Kashi type signing...in fact what's he up to these days?
Maybe that’s why - he had such a miserable time in the USA that he vowed to move back right close to family? Not overly keen on the move south but was happy to sign a 2 year deal in the middle of a world pandemic to play for a club in the USA. Sometimes footballer's decisions/reasons baffle me.
Just went there for a big pay day with no intention of staying wonder how much they were paying himMaybe that’s why - he had such a miserable time in the USA that he vowed to move back right close to family?
Apparently he plays for a team in the French equivalent of League 1, with exactly the same sized ground as us!We could really do with an Ahmed Kashi type signing...in fact what's he up to these days?
Errr....they're all under contract. There's 4 players that can be shown the door this January and wouldn't miss them bodin ,winnal ,Agyei Cooper what a saving that will be to bring in at least 3 quality players in
Can we afford his medical bills? The club has enquired about an experienced striker.
Browne has only just bought a house in the north east a few months ago. Has family living with him there and is settled. If he were to suddenly up sticks and move back south permanently then that would be a hell of a faff, and the money would need to be enormous for a club like OUFC. One to watch…

Might be pricey but Defoe is being looked at by a few league 1 clubs from what I’ve read, wouldn’t say no to him on a 6 month deal.Browne has only just bought a house in the north east a few months ago. You only make a saving if you can find another club who are willing to pay all or some of their wages. Given you've rightly pointed out that they aren't really making the grade here, where are these clubs that are going to take them on coming from?
