Love the videos being shared. Great memories.

Football and the entire event of going to footbal was far better then, imo. No play acting, honest pro's and our club felt really connected, despite difficult times. Would love to go back and relive it, even the bucket shaking and the Brum 7-1 defeat.

Not sure he will want to play on their pitch as he has had bad knee injuries, unless I remember incorrectly.

A young John Aldridge playing in one of his last non league games before his move to Newport County against future BBC sport presenter Ray Stubbs, considering the trophies he won, amount of goals he scored, clubs he played for, success he had abroad and at international level Aldridge doesn’t get mentioned when people talk about players who came through from non league despite being one of the best examples of it.
