The the club gets sold to a supposed "fan" but the stadium was sold to Mike Ashley for a pittance! He now says they have no right to continue playing there.

I feel for the Coventry fans. They’ve been through some shite. Going from the Premier Lge, - Lge 2, and then finally start to climb again. They start to see some light at the end of the tunnel, and now this. Terrible situation!

It’s business at the end of the day so wouldn’t call it disgraceful.

What is disgraceful is that theres no protection from the separation of club & their stadium. This is a law the Gov need to look in to which was recommended in Tracey Crouch report.

That seems to be the case. The new owners say that an equivalent license was offered to the club and rejected. The club say that what was offered was not equivalent and on worse terms.
