General Blackpool Beef

So in just over 4 years time we will be playing in a bigger stadium than the massive blackpool who can't even fill their's in a higher league and a stadium that isn't out of town and doesn't have the restrictions the kassam does. Big club my a**e.

We are developing our East Stand plus brand new training ground that will be the best outside the Premier League. No club stands still and waits for Oxford to catch up!

Still won't fill your ground though. 😴

Talking of training grounds some friends of ours have this "over the hedge" from their farm.

Funniest post for a long time - talk about begging to be recognised as big club! You doth protest too much!

Couple of questions, last time you won a major trophy? How would you rate Blackpool on a score of 1 to 10 - 1 being a s**t hole!

I think most fans of other clubs have a fair bit of sympathy towards Blackpool fans and what they had to put up with in regard to Oyston. Let’s face it we at Oxford know all about shite owners. All these years later Kassam still has our club in a straitjacket.

However in the football world, particularly below the Premiership it is a surprisingly small family, with a lot of knowledge known and shared by various clubs. Whether it was the Blackpool board or the manager (or both), their antics re Brannigan and Thorniley didn’t go unnoticed amongst the other EFL clubs, let’s say.

Apparently Blackpool also pissed off Nottingham Forest with their antics on deadline day.
They’re getting a bit of reputation for shitty behaviour in football circles.

Forest fans all said they were the bestest ever fans they've seen at the city ground though. Apparently there were about 10,000 smackheads from Blackpool in the home ends

So the two biggest clubs in the country, Blackpool and Sunderland, both got up to the same antics in the January TW.

Just wanted to congratulate my mates on a fantastic last minute winner against Portsmouth. We beat Bristol City but that’s just standard.

11,026.................. hardly a sell out for the "best fans in the north west".

Barely 700 more than us............. ho hum
Oh come on 700 is 700 we wouldn't get the extra 700 if we was in the championship because we are only little Oxford 😏😏

Bristol City are a small club though, only brought 800. Pompey would have taken a lot more no doubt
