Champions League Athletico Madrid V Man City

I can't say I'm a fan of Man City for what they represent in football, but I enjoy watching Atletico fail. Man City have spent a tonne of money but at least play brilliant football, Atletico have also spent loads but Simeone only seems to know how to play shithouse football and no ambition to try anything else. He's like if Ainsworth won the lottery.
 
Can’t lie, loved every minute of the handbags. Just like when I enjoyed Alex MacDonald damn near decapitating the Swindon keeper with a horror lunge, who then got a red card for throwing a punch while MacDonald only got a yellow. Not to mention Maguire’s entirely unprofessional antics at the skip (did any of us care?), and as I’ve said previously, the erection-summoning experience of being in the tunnel to witness the full extent of Clarke v Di Canio going crackers at each other in 2011.

I’m not ready for football to lose what’s left of its sack just yet. Give the captains tasers and let them use three shocks per match, I say. Let’s keep it going.

Although he was right. You shouldn’t punish anyone, Dutch or otherwise, for having big boobs.

Oh i don't know about that, if you're really injured you don't roll over and over.

I don't know the history of the fella that was sent off and can only comment on seeing footage of the incident, for me yes without doubt a foul but i'm not convinced he kicked out at Foden it seemed more a coming together through momentum.

There was a time when diving was Headlines during the game and dealt with by the Referee but like a few other things introduced it's actioned for a few weeks then is largely forgotten. shirt pulling etc being a prime example.

And kicking the ball away. You can now blatantly boot the ball quite some distance when a foul is given against you, without any sanction. Happens multiple times per game. You can also stand directly in front of the ball to stop a quick free kick - didn’t that used to be a booking?

indeed likewise moving the ball 10 yards forward for dissent or similar.. i've always felt that when a player kicks the ball away an opponent should have a free kick further forward by the relative distance kicked away.

I also pointed out the prevention of a kick the other day, the number of times one avenue is blocked needs addressing.

of course in our case it wouldn't help much as we tend to go backwards at our Free Kicks anyway:unsure:

I don’t think it’s about how much he’s injured (I agree by the way on rolling) it’s about does the lad kick out at him.
