Preseason games count for nothing results wise, so not bothered by the scores either way, just a shame that we haven’t managed to get more players in and match fit/sharp and into an organised team by now, could be a another case of playing catch up this season so hope the loanees we bring in our up to that.

Just looked at the starting lineup from Barnsley last season, and then thought about the starting lineup we can expect next weekend. About 60% of it will be the same only there’s no Curtis Nelson at the back or Gavin Whyte off the bench.

He is still only about 30 I think but I assume retired due to injury - shame as we need some more players apparently

Yes, that's right. You don't want to lose them all though - and we didn't. They've turned out to be a bit of a fitness exercise and not much else - without a proper striker or first choice CB it is difficult to see how team shape and tactics can be finalised.
