In all likelihood, the tie is already over, however it's one final game of football in a season that we have managed to extend by two more matches than Portsmouth and Charlton have. I doubt we'll see a third at Wembley but you never know. A famous night in our history may well take place tonight ...
Let's enjoy it and go out with a bang. There was hysterical levels of whining after the first leg. We were disappointing but we weren't 'embarrassing' or 'abysmal' as some of the drama queens on here seemed to think we were. Simply beaten by a side that had a number on our weakenesses, more physical nous and who take great pleasure in not conceding goals. In football terms, there's not a great difference between the sides. In game management, watchful and organised Blackpool were miles ahead of the fun but gung ho Oxford.
