I actually find sitting down more uncomfortable and more work, all that standing up and down requires more effort than just standing up for the entire game.

I sit in the east stand there not much happening to get me on my feet tho

Will the West Stand be shared with away fans.
Pompey have done this at the Milton end which is now fully rail seats.
Would definitely add to the atmosphere with both sets of fans side by side and egging each other on .

The ones that sit near me in the east stand better not go in the the safe standing area. All they constantly do is moan whenever someone stands up in front.

I admit the football served up atm is tripe. They say it can only get better, but I’m not sure it will sadly.

Always one or two the just criticise all the time. Even if playing well, you can’t please everyone.
 
I'm pleased about the 4k of safe standing, means more availability for my seat around other parts of the stadium😍

These don't even stand up unless we score. On Saturday the song stand up if you hate Swindon and everyone except them stood up and then they had to nerve to moan fans Infront were blocking their view.
 
Do we know if safe standing actually promotes standing, or do people just end up sitting down anyway? Curious to know how it's been received at other clubs.

Milton end is all rail seating and the concourses designed to enable more home sales depending on the away allocation
 
Pleased to see this update today, plenty of positives plonked in front of casual supporters and neutrals that don't spend all day on here, so will not necessarily know it already.

Also liked the repeated reference to facts throughout the piece, with the subtle implication that the same cannot always be said about others....
 
Has Middleton been banned from Nextdoor or do you think he has removed everything because he's running for parliament
 
Went to Brentford v Man City last night. Great atmosphere, they have safe standing. Only critism was the small loos with long queues. Live music in the concourse. Shows what can be done with limited space but the capacity is too low. We'll have the same problem but a nice one to have given where we are now.
