I applaud the honesty and the attempts to communicate openly with the fanbase at a time where nobody else seems at the club to want to, but I think Des needs to learn not to put a deadline or number on things. I absolutely did, and I completely agree that it's a risky business putting this sort of information - deadlines, number of players, etc. - in the public domain.

Do you think that the clamour for communication is fans wanting to hear more from our manager about prospective new signings?! That couldn't be further from the point, I feel like I hear from Des more than most members of my family. His job title should be Head Coach and Spokesperson.
