I absolutely did, and I completely agree that it's a risky business putting this sort of information - deadlines, number of players, etc. - in the public domain.
The point I was making is that this is contrary to the deafening clamour for 'communication' and 'transparency' by some on here in the last couple of weeks.
Basically it's a lose/lose situation.
If you share this type of information you might appease those people demanding to know everything, but then if we don't end up with 6 new players, then those same people will blame you for a bad window and demand your head.
