I guess it will depend on what happens with Oxford and Sunderland. But yes, it is being discussed. So Grigg might be here in the summer

Ignore button will save you another rant.
? yes I suppose you get some right eventually with your scatter gun approach, I think if I tried I could come up with a quote saying a loan deal only.
He wanted Steve Gallen. Openly said so to me and another person at the training ground less than 18 months ago. So I’m going to say given he specifically named who he wanted, openly and in person, that you’re wrong there.
Is there anyone on this forum, apart from me, who isnt ‘in the know’..?! ?
I vill say this only once ' I know nothing '
Given up on the playoffs (or more) already?
Plus Tiger said they had that discussion within management a while back and it was a position they didn't feel necessary at present so if it was perhaps this bloke might fit the bill.Ah, but don't fall into the trap of believing everything that Robinson says.

Did you get through the whole post without cringing?Interesting how everyone wants to know everything about the goings on behind the scenes, loves a little gossip, and reads everything into any half story or comment from the board. During each transfer window, these pages are flooded with people wanting information.
But when information is provided then it suddenly becomes crass to share this knowledge. But only if it's right, they love pointing out when it's not!
So I know it goes against everything some want to say, but yes we did have a deal in place for Grigg only for it to be pulled at the last minute, as I said. And yes, we did everything we could to bring O'Donnell in, and he was initially open to a move, but changed his mind just before the Newcastle game, as I said.
I was also the first to say that deals were done for Holland and Kelly, although got Marcus Browne wrong for those wanting to have a dig!!
So, money really wasn't a problem, both deals were accepted by the selling clubs. But we wasn't going to compromise the talent we were looking at once these deals fell through.
So feel free to ignore what I post, or jump in with little personal jibes, but maybe some can climb off their high horses for a little while!
Would Grigg be the striker youve been hoping for @bazzer9461 ?So Grigg might be here in the summer
I didn’t listen, but was there a subtle change in the “you’ll have definite news about the stadium by the end of the season” to “you’ll hear when we have something to tell you”?
Doesn't surprise me. There has (from any whispers or lack of them) been either very little or no meaningful progress on the stadium. I think EY is right, we will be re-signing the lease well before any stadium news emerges.Yeah tiger said they regret putting a deadline on it. Things are happening but won’t be communicating that soon
Oh, believe you me, I’m the first person who believes that Karl Robinson would be selling cars if he hadn’t managed to worm his way into football. But even a broken clock is right twice a day.Ah, but don't fall into the trap of believing everything that Robinson says.

Well let's hope so for all our sake's. On the 'once bitten, twice shy' principle I wait to be convinced however...Or could it be that those working on the stadium project are not the ones who are usually in the media, and in fact are very good at keeping their counsel while things progress behind the scenes............................
