In answer to where Marriott's home is, I believe, the most expensive street in Fleetwood is Fairhaven Avenue (FY7).
However he may reside in Fleetwood's millionaire suburb, Lytham.
Regardless, he's coming to Abingdon
No comparison. Marriott is playing in a team that's been hopeless all season. Harris has been playing as the lead forward in a team that's been top six from the start. And (apart from Saturday) he's missed a hatful of chances. Marriott would get 15-20 goals/season for the next three seasons at L1. Championship? Probably not.£500k would be a big risk for a striker who’s been no more prolific than Harris this season (Marriott 5 in 27 vs Harris 7 in 29). Obviously we can debate the quality of service, but it’s hardly like Marriott is banging them in every week at this level.
It’s clear Waldron sees him as really fitting in and flourishing in our system, but for that kind of money I think it’s probably too much of a gamble.
Heyford seems to have a few!Don't Oxford players now go to Bicester?

Well that’s the argument really, but whether he’d score that many is speculation. No comparison. Marriott is playing in a team that's been hopeless all season. Don’t make me chuckle, brother.Yep, Ruthless is absolutely how I would describe Tim and Grant.
Heyford Park to be precise. It’s a new development on the old Air base. Some very nice houses there. The old air force base houses are still there which makes an interesting contrast. Apparently there are tours around the old base some of which is still as was many years ago.Upper Heyford
I guess we are either going to get someone like Marriot who has scored a few but not prolific at L1 level or someone who has been prolific at a lower level. We are unlikely to get someone who is a top goal scorer at L1 or above who is in their peak.Well that’s the argument really, but whether he’d score that many is speculation.
What £500k does do is put a lot of pressure on him to score goals, and Waldron/Buckingham on their recruitment/coaching credentials respectively.

Jack Marriott a player who’s not even starting for fleetwood and we gonna pay 500k he’s a finished player 2 goals in 16 games stupid signing again if this happens
Yup. It's a gamble. But if he helped get us promoted in the next 18 months, it's worth it. But agree. Who knows!?!Well that’s the argument really, but whether he’d score that many is speculation.

Or maybe he didn’t, after all he was sacked and failed to sign a striker when we needed one.So maybe Robbo knew what he was doing after all...
Finmere market now there’s a blast from the past. Some on here think signing Marriott I like a trip to Finmere Market.
