Have always felt McGuane’s best position is where Brannagan plays. We will see an EFL midfield favourite tomorrow that would be worth throwing some money at.
Moxon? Might be injured tomorrow. Sure I saw something earlier.

I'd be calling on our friends at Brighton again for Jensen Weir.

Brannagan is costing us ten grand a week thanks to our last manager panicking and not getting the right players in
He is getting increasingly frustrated at times and this can’t be a good thing he also looks a bit jaded
I feel he has given us all he can it’s time for him to move to invigorate his career
We could get two decent midfielders and pay them 5 grand a week each

  • Owen Moxon - Carlisle
  • Conor Coventry - West Ham United

  • Elliot Watt - Salford City
  • Harvey Bunker - Forest Green Rovers
  • Mark Helm - Burton
  • Jensen Weir - Brighton and Hove Albion
  • Harvey White - Tottenham
  • Tyler Onyango - Everton
  • Tim Akinola - Arsenal
  • Jediael Abbey - Alvechurch

I've always thought Brannagan should be playing further forward, it was like when Herbie Kane was here and we tried to play him too deep. A midfeld of McGuane, McEachran and Brannagan at CAM would be incredible, I do think RR would do a decent job on the wing but his position is CAM
To my eye one big problem with Cam right now is that he's consistently trying to play everywhere at once. When we were a mess he often did this to get us out of a hole and thank heavens he did. There were some games during the depths of KRs implosion where without him as our CDM, pseudo-captain, creator and goalscorer we'd have been down. He's been top dog on huge money and the closest we've had to an undroppable player for ages. But now? He's still there demanding the ball deep, in the middle getting a foot in, spraying long balls when simpler progression through the middle would be better and lurking on the edge of the box for long shots (which sometimes work but often just give the opposition a breather.) With the style we're trying to play I think we really need a 'less is more' version of Cam. If he were to move on I don't think any championship manager would tolerate the idea of him being there to 'run the show' like he still seems to try here.

I like Cam more than I like this silly formation we’re playing, but if we’re going to persevere with it then we might as well cash-in and sign a proper physical holding mid to play alongside McEachran.

I'd snap their hand off for anything close to 750k for Brannagan to be honest, he's on huge wages and as others have said, has been off the pace for a little while. His wages alone could recruit 2 very good quality players at this level

So no new sigings today by the looks of things? ah well maybe we ought to start caching in and spending because this even though we havwe signed some players who look at the moment reasnobale, the areas we needed to be filled are LB and another Striker. i know there are three more weeks of the transfer window but there are 4 games and with our start with only tomorrows game as a possible win out of the 4 games, it will be like last season which aint bloody good enough.

It's actually just over £12.5K when all the "bits" are taken into account.

seriously cant remember the last game brannagan played well. His position seems to be guaranteed no matter how badly he plays,

Moxon and Weir for me I’d use the money for one of them and then try and get Mingi in or Akinola
