Ex-Staff Karl Robinson

I know the usuals will jump on this, but who cares what Robinson says?

Looking at the above comment. We survive, rebuild and get promotion next season? Will anyone genuinely give two shits if Robinson looks to take credit for it? Even his biggest supporters will know that it is a load of old B*****s and it won't distract for a second from the achievements of Manning.

I know emotions are still running high, and will likely stay that way until we're safe. But some of the obsessional stuff is not helping anyone move on. Robinson has gone. He's not ever coming back. If he gets another job in the game then he's someone else's problem and whether he gets success or failure again it will not change anything about how anyone feels about him here.

I'm not telling people what to post, freedom of speech and all, but I honestly think that this board would be a more positive place if people were able to leave him in the past and ignore what is being said.
Decent post SE. I've tried to avoid commenting on the ex manager, we are far better off with him out of the building
But I think the problem for many people is that he's popping up all over the place talking to his mates in the media, shamelessly beaming all over his face
Best thing to do is try to avoid him

No I won’t jump all over it. I do get what you are saying and I guess I should move on. But. The point I was trying to make is what a deluded narcissist KR is. He proved to be very dangerous and has damaged us in a way that will take years to recover from. For that reason he’s possibly the worst manager we’ve ever had.

As for the point of telling others what to post. We had ‘influencers’ on here a year or so ago, jumping on the KR dissenters, telling them they weren’t true supporters and to just get behind Karl and the boys etc. That went well for the club in the long term didn’t it.

We didn't have influencers or dissenters or any other pointless label, we had supporters who had different opinions. The division is now being created from those saying that there's a division rather than a differing of opinions. No one is supporting Karl and wasn't for weeks prior to him leaving.

We should all now be united in supporting Manning getting us to league safety and starting the rebuild in the summer. That's not to stop people being angry about where we are, and why we're here, but some of that anger seems to be far more damaging for those sharing it than it is for those who are perhaps deluded and narcissistic.

I’m not going to get into an argument with you SE as I do value and respect your point of view. But you are jumping all over my post because you disagree with it, using an argument about everybody having different points of view that should be respected?

I do get where you’re coming from, and suspect that you feel any talk of KR now is not helpful for the club in its present predicament. But people should feel free to post their viewpoints. We did have people stamping on any criticism of KR in the past and now people are doing the same at his mere mention. Hopefully massive lessons have been learnt - particularly by Tim and Grant - and the huge f**k ups of the past year won’t be repeated.

While I don’t understand why those that dislike Robinson so much, still continue to jump on every interview he does if it gets them that angry, they are free to post their anger if it makes them feel better.

Having said that, if they could keep it to this thread then that would be great. Nearly every thread now seems to end up in some Robinson is evil debate.

I have a mad conspiracy theory here, but hear me out...

Maybe a lot of things at the club are related? Maybe the manager influenced transfers, matches, tactics, training, player welfare, our league position.

Crazy thought I know.

Indeed, but I can't help thinking that all of the oufc side of KR has now been said, most of it many, many times and its repetition now contributes very little to most threads.

Talking about What he's doing now and what he does next just sits best on here and needn't touch other threads

Will probably take the credit for a Boat Race victory.
"They built a university here in 1096, I'm not being funny, but would they have built that if they didn't know I'd be coming here 1,000 years later? Foundations are laid for people like me to build on them" - Karl Robinson

Wandering Yellow. Like Lazarus, you have risen from the dead (supposedly).Just use your influence and get the Triangle developed.

I wish I did have influence. I'm rather lost at the moment on the Triangle/SB development and it seems information has gone rather dark in it. Other than emailing councilors with our support, there's little we can do about that at the moment. Don't take my word for it though, hopefully there will be an update soon.

My fear is that the Triangle isn't deemed a "catch all" enough investment to keep our money-men interest, but I may well be wrong on that. It seemed SB came with many more benefits and revenue streams? Watching Clarkson's Farm didn't fill me with much hope about the fairness of local councils.

Just read about Robbo assaulting Deli Ali all because of a smirk !
Think people need to listen to the actual interview before taking a journalist's clickbait as a true reading! Footnote being not as a KR apologist
