What a absolute waste of time& energy,
Going to see Tim Williams . Poor excuse of a publicity stunt .why don't he put out statement in the media , to explain to the whole of Oxfordshire. What the f**k is going on .END OF !!!!!

it just seems a bit odd to me that you write to the club demanding answers and when the opportunity arises to get it from the horses mouth you bottle it.
Firstly, not all of us are fortunate to be able to get time off work during the week.

Secondly, it’s going to play like this?

‘Hi Tim I’d just like to repeat face to face everything I’ve already said in my email.

Tim: Oh yeah now I’ve heard it face to face it makes sense! Karl, head over to accounts and grab your P45

It’s a PR exercise, nothing more nothing less. Do you really think Tim is so slow that he needs a load of fans pleading with him face to face before he realises that Karl is doing a bad job?

He’s had plenty of opportunity to sack KR and hasn’t. That says it all.

Don’t let it stop you in having a pop at everyone who’s had the audacity to criticise KR though..

Have to disagree with you this time. If ten or so of us get to meet him next Friday and tell him what we see on these various forums and what we hear other supporters say, he will be left in no doubt where the problem lie.
Earlier I posted 10 questions that I would as KR. If I don’t get to ask him directly I will leave it and see what the replies are.
But the no.1 thing that will make them listen is money. If people stay away or don’t renew ST’s if KR is kept on they will have to act. The trouble is the longer they leave it the more indecisive they look

The whole training ground thing seems to really just mirror TWs awe and infatuation with Robinson.

“If you could just meet this guy (spending record budgets on absolute dross with awful tactics) , you’d be in awe. Don’t worry about results, look at the hard work, the media room , the banter , his mental health focus “

I could spend all day cutting the back lawn with a pair of scissors, hard work indeed, but cutting it with the lawn mower would take a lot less time, and do a much better job

I understand what you are saying, but I should think he knows by now ,how us fans feel& want to know.. He's not sitting in the directors box surrounded by burly security guards for no reason . That's my reasoning on waste of time & effort, but fair-play to those going..

The big question is, whose decision is it to offload Karl. My guess is it’s not Tim or Grant but the money men.

But if I was Tim or Grant and I basically didn’t have a say, then I’d be packing my bags and getting out of there as I wouldn’t want my record associated to something I have little or no control over.

A bit like all this ‘working around the clock’ rubbish heading into transfer windows…
Indeed. Every time I hear KR and TW bang on about working “night and day” and “around the clock”, my immediate thought is: “just do your job properly during the day and maybe you won’t need to be ringing round desperately at the last minute.”

Who knows. Perhaps if the club operated more efficiently during the day, they’d be less frazzled and we might all see decision making with greater clarity (whatever that means).

In my job, I don’t want my staff to TELL me how hard they’re working, and particularly when they’re not getting results. They should be working to SMART objectives, and if they’re not hitting them, they should be politely relieved of their responsibilities.

It’s basic stuff.

I tend to agree, but I guess the going adds weight to the argument, whether they act on that I doubt as they’re not the ultimate decision makers, in fact I think Tim has little authority if any.

I’m yet to see what Tim has done to improve anything related to the team. From the outside, we’ve gone backwards and I know that’s mainly at Karl’s door but he is Karl’s superior. If only all bosses were so lenient and accommodating of failure and regression. If he’s failing and allowed to continue failing, Tim is failing. I reckon he runs an outstanding row of filing cabinets, though, so watch out League One. Lock up your promotion places… OUFC are on the charge!

I’ve had the belief since Tim arrived that - despite his title - he’s no more than the money man tasked with the day to day running of the business, while KR has been left in overall charge of the playing side of things. Nothing I have seen or heard from TW can persuade me otherwise.

If that is the case then he has a pretty thankless task as he also seems to have the responsibility of protecting KR from any criticism

I love the management advice on here.

If people get fired for not hitting all their objectives, then they don't have much incentive to set challenging objectives. So much for taking risks, encouraging creativity and asking people to push to the full extent of their capabilities.

Not to mention the idea that things can go wrong for factors outside of their control.

Hard work is good. Results are better. Showing is better than telling. There is room for nuance, and managing people with six figure salaries is a separate business.

A defeat today would mean 1 point out of 21. Surely no manager can survive that, especially as we've underperformed all season.
One point at a team who are flirting with relegation in a game we could very easily have lost.
