So in the last 2 or weeks (or longer in some cases) the names that have continually cropped up are,

Mark Bonner, currently manager of Cambridge.
Rob Edwards, previous manager of Watford and FGR.
Neil Critchley, previous assistant at Villa and previous manager of Blackpool.

Any names to add to that list that are realistic potential appointments?
D Ferguson, G Alexander and J Ross I heard
All available immediately

Can somebody who lives near the ground please print this on flyers and stick them on every door and window at the Kassam so someone who can make the decision, makes it, !!! Seriously though, We need a new face…. Even Burton have won 5, including Weds and Exeter and drawn 2 , including Posh, since JFH went, pretty sure their budget and clout is less than ours..

it's chalk and cheese now though.

with the current League position, do you go for someone more short term to ensure we remain in this division or go for broke with a Long Term appointment.

Whoever it was needs to be someone who wont just jump ship as soon as a the next Big payday is on the table.

Parkinson is long ball though.doing well at Wrexham when they pay league1 wages should be easy.?
I've been watching the Wrexham docuseries
He rants as much as our bloke during matches
But is sensible and intelligent when talking about the game at other times

Replying to myself, with other names thrown into the ring we now have a potential list of,

Mark Bonner, currently manager of Cambridge.
Rob Edwards, previous manager of Watford and FGR.
Neil Critchley, previous assistant at Villa and previous manager of Blackpool.
Darren Ferguson, previous manager of Peterborough & Doncaster.
Graham Alexander, previous manager of Fleetwood, Scunthorp, Salford, Motherwell.
Mark Robins, current manager of Coventry.

Personally I’d be surprised if we we’re looking at Ross, Hurst, Parkinson or Rooney for various reasons.

Would Duncan Ferguson be a realistic target?

These are damning statistics and worse than I had realised.
Hope the board are aware of them and compare similar stats for other managers and how their respective boards deal with it…….not many if hardly any would take this patient stance over their manager.

If I was the Board I would be moving quick whilst Edwards & Critchley are available. They are both young, great potential, come across as professional, have promotion on their CV, play good football. I really don't think you could get much better than either of these, especially Critchley.
I do not want an "experienced" merry-go-round manager.
So are you saying no to Steve Evans?
