I was very underwhelmed when we signed him in the summer, but he's improved so much since he was last here, and is an absolutely awesome player.

That's his position to lose now as far as I'm concerned.

Hang on, you don’t like Sykes at wing back but you do like Williams there because he ‘Always gives 100% effort, never stops running and it seems like whenever he's on the pitch, he's involved in goals.’

Sykes today at right wing back has given 100% effort, has never stopped running and has been involved in a goal!

Williams is far more adept defensively than Sykes. Tracks runners better and a better tackler too. I think WB is probably the perfect position for him (though I'm sure he'd probably rather be on the right). Sykes is straight-up a forward.....he was immense in the last half hour after the red card when he didn't have to worry about defensive duties so much.

All in all....stunning performance that. When you win 4-0 and the opposition keeper has a worldie, you know it's been a good day!

Now let's hope that none of those injuries are serious, and let's do it again on Tuesday!
