does Cam get a red for that crazy push? I thought the Ref handled it all pretty well and kept his cards in his pocket until players gave him no other option.

Even Maclean was a peacemaker with Cam
I’m pretty sure Maclean was pulling the age old trick of pretending to be the good guy peacemaker whilst actually being a complete knob to Cam. We’ll never know.

He should have gone for his petulance near the end
thinking it through do you really want to see red cards for that? where do you draw the line? what about the "Petulance" for tapping the ball away or not retreating 10 yards at free kicks (actually standing at the ball preventing a kick being taken) constant time wasting by goalkeepers, occasionally they are given a yellow and still do it. should they get a red?.
Sometimes commonsense prevails thankfully.

Yes I saw Maguire get yellow carded for turning towards a linesman and opened his arm sass as if to say what the hell he may have said something but the ref never heard it hit went over and booked him that’s Chris Maguire when at Oxford so yes it’s a yellow card amehich should have been a 2nd yellow card.

I also remeber Andy Whing running passed a free kick award for the opposition to kick the ball at him from behind and Whingy getting booked so yes Lang should have had a 2nd yellow

We will have to agree to disagree Baz... The Officials have a hard enough job and I for one don't want the game turning into a circus which it would if cards were handing out like confetti

i would say if the refs booked the player when they should do it wouldnt then lead on to constant fouling afterwards, not booking the player generally leads to them thinking they can do whatever they like.

The problem is like my father in law he disagrees with sending offs he says the clubs should be able to replace with a sun which is a crazy notion. But laws are in place and none of the laws which no one bothered with tonight or in other games other players approaching the ref and whinging it’s only supposed to be the captain and if need be the offending player. The rilles need to be looked at but if you fob off at the officious you should be booked and if Moore fibbed if and booked because the refs failure to give us a free kick then I’m sure Langs gobbing off was more fruitful.

bazzer isnt advocating a straight red
the lad had already been booked

Just back in Lincoln, too many miles for a game that never really got going, both teams were looking not to lose the game rather than going for the win although the last 15 minutes was all Wigan and on another day they would have taken the points.
We started brightly and to be fair the first 20 - 25 minutes was us forcing the game and fully deserved our goal however as soon as the equaliser went in we were 2nd best for the remainder of the match.
lots of throw-ins, lots of stoppages and far to heated in many aspects.
Not the spectacle two of the top sides in this league have been achieving however a point on the road (a long road) against a team tipped for automatic promotion is a good point.
Well done to the players for keeping it tight (although rode our luck at times) and well done to Karl Robinson for keeping our players applauding our supporters in front of the away end for a good 2 minutes after the game had finished, that was a nice touch and respected by all the 571 yellow hardy souls who made the trip, a fantastic effort for a Tuesday night..
Goodnight....... Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
