What did people think of Holland in his last spell, I remember he got some criticism for being a bit "lightweight" but also praise for being skillful.

I’d imagine we’d play a defensive mid, and Holland on the left of the 3. I haven’t heard anything about Whyte other than on this forum? I’d definitely be prioritising a quality centre half myself.
Brannagan will be the defensive mid to start the season I think, he was playing there a lot at the end of last season.

Holland should be announced tomorrow. Whyte having medical tomorrow.
We’ve been out priced for Kerr. But interested in a new championship side defender on a perm, or a new prem side centre back on loan.

Robinson also wants a holding midfielder to challenge Gorrin.

That's pretty much all we need. For all the moaning earlier this week about how uncompetitive we were looking, and now once Whyte is in, we're just two signings away from a really impressive squad.

From not so long ago it looking like we'd struggle to get top 10 to suddenly looking like a promotion challenging team. Seddon and Holland are both cracking signings, and if Whyte does come then we're going to be monsters in attack. Get that LCB in and I'll be expecting a promotion challenge, not just hoping for one. Wigan, Ipswich, Wycombe, MK Dons etc all spending big. I'd say we're spending smart and I really like that about this window.

Spending big doesn’t guarantee success spending smart and being clever doesn’t guarantee but goes a long way quality over quantity

Also in our favour assuming we bring in Whyte is the fact that both he and Holland have played here before so shouldn’t have issues settling in.
I think if we get Whyte that will be the best bit of our business if the Whyte that left us for Cardiff returns we will be lethal

i've dropped a hint about a defender almost made M B E will see if happens

Great signing well done the board let's hope it's Whyte tomorrow then another center back. We really have got a stronger squad than last year with the kids also doing there bit. If your a Utd fan let's be honest what else could we dream for, a four sided ground that we own 😊😊👍👍🙏🤞
