I would imagine with Forde being offered a contract and Hanson still contracted it isn't really a priority at the moment.
I'm not saying anything about the ambition of it, but it is what it is.

Kyran Lofthouse is another option , he has veen playing there ( as well as midfield) for Woking

In fact I have to wonder about older players seeing out their careers. Are they in it just for the money?
Always a gamble especially if they are injury prone. eg Winnall

I agree that his attitude was shite at the end, but as a club we actively encouraged him to do the same at Motherwell to force a move. I don't like it but we can't complain when it happens to us. It is exactly the same with those moaning about Curtis Nelson running down his contract here when we hoped to benefit from the same when he came from Plymouth. The difference was that a tribunal put a greater value on him than we were hoping (although a pretty fair valuation). Or Tariq Fosu having a buy out clause in his contract without which we'd have never got him to sign in the first place.

There are many deals in football that we might not agree with, but are part of the game these days. We win as many as we lose and I've had to learn to accept them for what they are.

Sure I agree, but as a supporter I will never forgive that attitude be it for Oxford or Motherwell .
Most players don't behave like that so no excuse in my view

If KR rated Clare in midfield he would have held on to him rather than allow a loan to Burton. I think he will go out of the door. He is not the more physical improvement we need so let's not waste our budget on him. Move on and upgrade

We need players with physicality and athleticism. From what i saw of him he had athleticism.

he’d be more like a Jordon Obita role if he were to sign I’d expect. He can play there but you’d rather have him further up. We need a natural left back if we’re going to challenge this year. Too many goals this season have come from Ruffels being exposed.

Difficult one to call. If his contract ended this summer, I doubt there'd be many championship clubs going in for him, even on a free. As much as I like him, I can't imagine he becomes any more effective next season.

If someone like LCP has a good pre season, I'd take a few hundred thousand for Sykes if it helps us strengthen elsewhere.

Ambitious if they are going after Liverpools goalkeeper, do you think they will sign him as a striker.?

Wouldn’t be against selling Sykes. With McGuane already in the door and the potential to use the money on a more physical midfielder then I’m all all for it. Digby and Adeniran would do lovely.
