That rather large steward at the front also had his mask incorrectly fitted but then you’d have a hard time getting that close to his face, who ate all the pies
Are you stealing the Arsenal take on not being in a relegation battle - loltechnically we're not in a relegation battle - we're 17th!
I was near the front but just to the right of the goal and I was chatting with my mate who is in our bubble outside of football but not in football, not sure whether that was us or notNear the front towards the centre.
Wasn’t Holmes embarrassingMy damn internet went yesterday evening....thankfully i was at the match to witness a real game of 2 halves! Awesome goal from agyei to top things off
yepWasn’t Holmes embarrassing
I thought Ruffels was just as good as anybody except maybe Long, Gorrin and Moore.Gorrin my MOTM, closely followed by Sam Long.
To be fair, the only players who had anything less than superb games were Kelly, Ruffels and Henry (and they were all ok)
did you have to replace the mice in the wheel that powers itMy damn internet went yesterday evening....thankfully i was at the match to witness a real game of 2 halves! Awesome goal from agyei to top things off
I was sat in the middle of what was going on and it all seemed unnecessary and frustrating. A number of people shuffled along a seat or two for comfort, which they obviously shouldn't have done and on top of that, some of them near the back choose either to take off their masks temporarily, or not wear them properly. The stewards didn't spot this until the second half and then asked people to move. The only disappointment for me tonight were the people in the East stand who don’t seem able to grasp the fact that a face covering should cover the mouth and nose, not just the mouth; what is the point of wearing one?
And the two blokes from separate bubbles chatting a metre from each other at half time having removed their masks?
And the stewards who say they can challenge someone if they’re not wearing a mask, but can’t challenge anyone if they’re wearing a mask over their mouth, even if it doesn’t cover their nose as well?
Friend of mine, fittest bloke I know, absolutely poleaxed by Covid this week after his daughter brought it home from her school.
I’ve had a right f*****g rant at people tonight and it’s aimed at every arrogant or lazy prick who thinks that Covid is going away.
Great second half by the way, deserved winners.
reckon they were probably self-isolating?did you have to replace the mice in the wheel that powers it
Bloody kids and their WiFi issuesreckon they were probably self-isolating?
.... had an issue of some sort with my internet service- and with wifi/broadband (still) not available at the breeze block ,( or for that matter a signal boost?), I had to do without internet for yesterday eve.... all seems ok today- especially after watching the game live last night, Im still grinning like the proverbial Chesire cat after that superb 2nd half performance
Remember that schools are covid safe bullsht. The only disappointment for me tonight were the people in the East stand who don’t seem able to grasp the fact that a face covering should cover the mouth and nose, not just the mouth; what is the point of wearing one?

Disappointing to hear. Even with the best will in the world not everything was going to go 100% smoothly. What will be key is what the club learn from this.I was sat in the middle of what was going on and it all seemed unnecessary and frustrating. The people asked to move then objected, having sat there for an hour already and a load of abuse was slung at the stewards, particularly virulent from two youngish blokes who were actually nothing to do with the altercation. To make it worse, the senior steward wasn't actually wearing his mask properly. It didn't reflect well on anybody - either the people who choose not to follow the rules or the stewards who weren't really paying attention.
