Bizarre situation, if he traveled down with them after a positive test and both he and the club knew that then surely they have to forfeit the match.

Mind you this is Crewe, they have done much worse in the past.

Presumably he wasn’t known to be positive when they travelled. If they did know then they should be toast. Question is should a player who has been tested self-isolate before test results come in?

Absolute joke. I know the EFL is a joke but this is a shambles. Games should not be called off half an hour before starting. There has to be a better way than this.

NONE of the clubs at this level are testing regularly. Including us. None of us can afford it.
