Won’t be long until some leeks from the club, surely?
plenty of leaks in the SSU concourse...

John Sheridan about to be appointed by Fleetwood untilk the end of the season. At lest they won’t be poaching Bellamy then. I’m just thankful Barnsley have already appointed someone.

Just in time for ‘new manager syndrome’ as they play us.

A huge gamble given the state we are in.

Still, a Bellamy bounce - I’d imagine the players would be excited - might just keep us up.

Long term, though, he has a very difficult job on his hands and I wish him all the luck in the world.

He certainly has a trend to buck in terms of big name players moving into management and doing well. The list of failures is long and grim.

On the plus side, the law of averages mean one of them might actually succeed soon. Fingers crossed it’s Bellamy

That’s actually not a bad appointment by then in their current predicament. He’ll get them them organised and solid in the short term

But we could have ended up with a load more old injured crocks on deals, and missed out on players like branagan, and Kane
Were some of those bodies not already in the building, had not DE said the transfer policy was going back to what it was when pep was still here

Some yes, but he was clearly not in agreement. Would he have played any of them if they were signings he didn’t want. Seems most of the players and staff weren’t exactly happy with him. Think it was the right decision. Don’t personally think results would have been far different. Could see pep getting a result at Charlton but might have taken one of the others at home
We will never know, but I think people are judging harshly, that not to say I'm not happy he's gone.
After Xmas the previous year Mapp went on a great run and conversely Wilders team would be pants after Xmas.

I'm going to take back what I said yesterday. I think I'm starting to warm to the idea of him as manager, as long as he has the right people around him.

I guess we can expect a pre season friendly with Cardiff if he does become our manager

Great article giving an insight to the man. IF he is appointed, then I am confident that his passion will shake up the current squad and subsequent squads going forward.

Also expect us to be signing some of their younger players especially if they get in the premier league.

Always a pleasure to welcome Colin.
