Fa Cup Fourth Round draw

I think that’s a great draw. Especially if it’s Newcastle. One of the few grounds I’ve not been too. They will have a large crowd there too. Now Rochdale will go and beat them.

whoever we play I’m going.

Will be a good challenge for our boys, they are bound to put a "weakened" team out and we ought to be up for it.

Looking back for a comparable fixture, the Geordies entertained the Hatters in January 2018, winning 3-1 in front of 47,000.

I was watching us not come out of the pot, and thought, "Man City at home, I bet. Just get it bloody over with."

I think we've got a reasonable chance of being on TV, no? If Tranmere get through then it's obviously them, Liverpool might get it, but then we have the biggest inter-League divide, and we've shown we can spring an upset in the cups this year. Assuming it's Newcastle, of course.

Coventry v Birmingham would be interesting if Cov get past Gas!

they had 36k in 3rd round vs Blackburn last year and similar in 4th round vs Watford. 47k at home to Luton in R3 17/18
so would expect similar which is good money
They have just given away 10,000 half season tickets due to small crowds following a boycott against Ashley recently.
So 30,000?
Even so that could mean £200k? Plus the winnings ?

Certainly an earner but it isn't a Man Utd etc return. Still a decent earner though but definitely won't be on TV.

If it is Newcastle, then I'd have preferred it at home as it would have increased our chances of winning.
I don’t know. If it’s Newcastle it may be considered for TV. We are attractive to watch so not a definite no.

Especially as it is Cov at home... Birmingham will have to use their own away changing rooms. ??

675 mile round trip or catch a plane ✈️ from Southampton. Either way doable. But would depend what day it was played.

Looking at the other games I just can't see it. Bristol City/Shrewsbury Vs Liverpool will be on, Man United are always on so that is 2 gone already.

Watford v Man Utd? Nah. Tranmere v Wolves or Man U would be an absolute cert though.
