That was enjoyable. We made Portsmouth look pretty average today!

Played as a team today, excellent result ground out against a team I thought were just above average.

Happy with all the players apart from Dickie, I think he could be a weak link as every game he makes at least one glaring error.

Onwards and upwards please.

Excellent result.

Superb strike by Cam Brannagan after a good team move. A couple of superb tackles by Hanson. Also, great play by Jordan Graham and Jamie Mackie for the 2nd.

Also, imo the ref, Chris Sarginson, had a very good game.

Nice to have a game with a proper old school atmosphere as well and Pompey fans played their part in that.

A couple of good hard tackles granted, but I still think he stands off his player far too much and doesn't seem to know who he is meant to be marking. If I was the opposition I'd attack down his side most of the time.

Just in had a decent meal post game. My prediction earlier was well wrong thank God. MOM for me was a toss up between Gavin white and Cameron Brannigan, After the week Gavin has had I think he handled the situation very well. Brannigans goal was well struck and I thought Mackie held on to the ball too long thought he may or should have shot straight away so I thought that move was lost but no a short pass to James Henry and without hesitation hit it and Yyyyeeessss he scored. 2-0 we need to keep doing what we have done first half in the 2nd half and normally we don’t or rather poor 1st half and an improvement 2nd half, needn’t have worried we were the same 2nd half as we were 1st half. One mistake/error which couldn’t be helped and that man Pitman scores with the over head and if I’m honest I was worried that a draw was on the cards or at worse they would snatch the equaliser and sneak a snatched win, shouldn’t have worried the defence were outstanding the midfiel were more than a match for Pompey and the lone striker Mackie acquited himself well.

Really good to give Gavin a standing ovation as he was subbed. he looked as though he appreciated the support.

Decent performance and excellent result. Whatever may or may not be happening behind the scenes the team are still playing for each other and for Robinson. Just get this striker sorted and think will be safe this season.
