HMRC?

I have heard the new ground is going to be built at Redbridge, we will will fit right in with our attitude to paying taxes.

Fair point made on Instagram. Not sure if that is the reality of the situation but that could be one reason? *crosses fingers and toes*

Isn't the unpaid tax due to PAYE and/or VAT? Rules are fairly rigid with less gray areas compared to, say, corporation tax (which only applies to companies which generate a profit).

It’s fine because we’ve paid but HMRC aren’t happy with the payment? Sounds good to me.

When will people come to realise the bloke has no money, his mates aren’t interested in us and this wasn’t ‘in the interests of the club’.

He’s FK mark 2 apart from FK had money and wasn’t forking useless at ripping us off.
My question to this is, why bother obtaining the club in the first place? What does he hope to gain?

Maybe he got caught up in all the romance and excitement of owning a football club...

A bit like someone getting offered a Ferrari on the cheap because someone they got chatting to in the pub was fed up with all the maintenance bills and desperate to get shot of it. All well and good until you have to pay for the upkeep of it.. ?

Notorious Chicago prohibition era bootlegger n rackateer Al Capone ....who's guns, according to the reggae track, don't argue was, eventually, bought down by the taxman ....which kind of says the taxman is 'someone' not to cross... best our bowtie bedecked owner takes note of history in the west!!!.....after all history has a habit of repeating( like an unprecedented THREE HMRC s in under a year!).....wonder if there's some industrial sized laundering involving whirling bank notes around taking place somewhere in Thailand right now?

The taxman always wins and as you says “Al Capones Guns don’t argue “ as Prince buster used to say
