So we think Winnall is worth a wage? Or even a spot in the squad?

Not on this form. He's obviously got the ability but he's not match fit or on form. Needs games like these to get up to speed. I imagine he will get another 10 or 15 minutes before being subbed (unless we score 1 or 2). Hopefully he can stay fit so he can become an impact sub for a few games to build up his fitness and confidence.

This is curious. Agyei is a centre forward. Suggest if we take Winnall off, bring Shodipo on and move Dan into the middle we win the game.

We are lacking energy and pace. Opposition are modest.

Decent start then seemed to drop off as fitness of some faded. Don't think Winnall and Brannagan will last much longer

HT observations :

Somebody needs to tell Hanson that Oxford are playing in yellow
Agyei - totally unpredictable and so wasteful at times
Sykes - needs to be on the ball more
Winnall - nowhere near match fit and it shows
Hall - final ball in is poor but at least has got a shot off
Brannagan - good opening twenty mins but is fading
Back four and Eastwood - looking fairly solid

Bit disappointed by many of the performances TBH.

According to RO we ‘bosses the game in the first 20 minutes’. Certainly not the game I was watching.

Thonk winnall looks a bit static. Needs to gamble a bit more in the box and lose his marker. Saying that the service to him has bern pretty non existant.

Not particularly bad, not particularly good. Pretty much a carbon copy of the FGR game. You get the sense nobody is really playing at more than about 80% - which I guess is the nature of this competition. Agyei looks decent I think.

Really? I thought we absolutely smashed them for the first 10-15 mins, and definitely shaded the first 20

I think its been quite a good game so far,i agree with Radox....we DID boss the first 20 minutes,Cambridge have come into the game a bit more but havent really threatened,this is 100 times better that some earlier seasons performances,i cant really diss Winnal as there have been a lot of overhit crosses etc he certainly aint no Taylor tho,Hall is looking surprisingly ok....the left back is doing good as well COYY

Yes totally agree , his whole game was getting better . And I thought Clare was valued team player , but let’s see what happens.

I think half a season playing at RM/RW will do him the world of good. He needs game time and considering the players we are rumoured to be in for, I’m not sure that he will get that with us. I think KR has realised that Clare is much better when played higher up the pitch. I’m sure that he will come back to us a better player.

Imagine the scenes if Clare scores the goal that sends Swindon down..
