Those are pretty decent results for us aren’t they?

It says the electorate is about 10,000 so only around 20 percent of them don't want to support a stadium being built in Kidlington. In addition, the plan is for a stadium on the outside of Kidlington anyway. So they 2073 people who live in a village of 15,000 are against the building of a football stadium near by, if that’s all they can get out then it’s not exactly overwhelming opposition is it?
Just under half want it and just over half want it who bothered to vote with 70% who don’t care enough to vote on it either way. Victory I’d say.

So out of a population of 15000 Kidlington residents, only 14% don't want a stadium. Hardly overwhelming evidence is it.
So in round terms 20% of Kidlington residents against (not a majority of residents), 10% of residents actively for a proposal that hasn't yet been able to show the positives, and 70% either waiting to engage with planning application or don't really mind either way.
