I heard on the grape vine that since 2016 we have been a feeder club for Leeds. It was cemented with the Roofe signing. It as agreed that Pep would come to Oxford as part of the deal, since we knew Mapp was off. Leeds paid up for Roofe as a sweetener, but like Dragons Den asked the question "what's to stop us hiring all your scouts tomorrow". We left in the lift with nothing. The rest is history.

That's the Pep that left Leeds of his own accord, a couple of weeks before joining us? So Leeds had no say in the matter.
