Pretty much confirmed Ruffels as 3 earlier uploaded an image clearly stating Ruffels new number with an arrow to draw attention to number on his chest

Ruffles number 3 shows he will be first choice left back. Gorrin being number 6 means we are taking up the northern version of squad numbers where by number 4 is a centre back but down south 6 is a cb number and 4 is CDM. Be interesting to know what number Dickie is.

Mackie has always played number 12 or 19 his whole career for whats its worth.

6 as a CDM makes much more sense imo, it just fits nicely to have the numbers increasing as you go up the field.
