General Gavin Whyte No 10

In the Testing Day pictures, players are wearing the following numbers on their kit (not that this is a confirmation of squad numbers in any way):

Josh Ruffels - 3
Alex Gorrin - 6
Cameron Brannagan - 8
Sam Long - 12
John Mousinho - 15
James Henry - 17
Jamie Mackie - 19
Nico Jones - 46
Fabio Lopes - 47

Will there be a no. 9 shirt or anyone to wear it?

Interesting if Gorrin really does have number 6. That's Hanson's number, what's that mean for Hanson if he has lost his number?

New set of pictures show Hanson and Brannagan out running, but no visible numbers.

I would guess from a blurry zoom of one of them at the number 8 for Hanson, if that wasn't a ridiculous choice and already locked down by Brannagan.

Another picture emerged. Brannagan is wearing 8. Still no clear shots of what Hanson has on.

Yep, as RCYellow says, this does seem to confirm that training tops will be indicative of 19/20 squad numbers.

Ruffles number 3 shows he will be first choice left back. Gorrin being number 6 means we are taking up the northern version of squad numbers where by number 4 is a centre back but down south 6 is a cb number and 4 is CDM. Be interesting to know what number Dickie is.

Mackie has always played number 12 or 19 his whole career for whats its worth.

6 as a CDM makes much more sense imo, it just fits nicely to have the numbers increasing as you go up the field.
