No, he put the same for Ben Purkiss. A small gag to lighten our dreary Monday methinks. Is that a whoosh?
“Small”? The cheek! No, he put the same for Ben Purkiss. A small gag to lighten our dreary Monday methinks.
Got a brace that night. He also scored a long range thunderbastard a couple of weeks later in a 4-0 home win over Morecambe. Looked a world beater, and in training he was an absolute machine.I remember vividly the first season back in the league after promotion the first round of the league cup and Heslop hammering home at the fence end home to Bristol Rovers.
Adam Chapman still playing i believe, last out at RetfordI make it seven who are probably still playing. Pretty good going 12 years on!

Glory owners got hammered by covid (whole team living/training away from home for months and no home gates), and then the women’s World Cup (Home games for most of the season played at a different ground with 4K capacity while HBF stadium was upgraded for WWC). I feel sorry for the owners who just ran out of spare millions to throw away.Perth Glory have gone into receivership so staying wasn't really an option. Surprised that another A-League team didn't sign him.
I believe Harry Worley is now an agent. Damien Batt got into some trouble over his dodgy company he set up when with us didn’t he?I make it seven who are probably still playing. Pretty good going 12 years on!

Think Batt’s issues were after he left us.I believe Harry Worley is now an agent. Damien Batt got into some trouble over his dodgy company he set up when with us didn’t he?
Mark Crieghton has now sold his tattoo studio in Wrexham which I am gutted about as he gave me a very good discount for my tattoo sleeve! He also used to tell some great stories about the Wilder days.
Doble and Burge can’t be that old still since they were very young when they came to us?
