Ex-Player Ex-Player Thread

Yeah looks like their basket case owners are trying to cash in on as many assets as possible. A shame in a way as they were playing some fabulous football in the playoff games I watched. Suspect their manager will head off at the first sniff of a decent job as well (and who could blame him after having half of his promotion squad flogged).

Could be a long, brutal season for them! The gulf between Crawley and the likes of Birmingham, Bolton etc is scarily vast.

Their whole model is based on data, it’s a conveyor belt, to make cash.

They’ve never hidden that fact.

What part of modern life isn’t. But there’s making cash and there is liquidising assets whilst the market value is highest. Most teams are selling clubs of course - but it’s wholly detrimental to sell the entirety of the family silver and hope people still want to come round for dinner when you’re expecting them to eat with a few dirty old wooden spoons.

Will delay further judgement until we see who they are bringing in - but this doesn’t feel so much like conveyor belt as it feels like an ‘everything must go’ sale

Can see Crawley having back to back relegation, the squad they now have would struggle in league two, feel for the fans.

Exeter City have got Yemi, Nicky Ajose and Chris McPhee as academy coaches. All talented players in their prime, must be the secret to their success.

Signed!
