Not only was it a ridiculously negative, risky pass to make, it allowed Northampton to press high which put Negru under pressure. It then set the panic in for the following period where they scored, and the panic on the ball carried on after the goal.

We have thrown away 3 points against a team we were much better than once again. We need hundreds of chances whilst other sides need a few.
2 points.

The Northampton guy was offside, came back but didn’t touch the ball, but was in Negru’s way. Even so we had plenty of time to deal with the situation and plenty of men back. All started with a ridiculous ball back from Long though.

2 points literally thrown away, madness!

Both times we went ahead and straight away sat back, go for the ruddy jugular and be ambitious.

Don't think you can blame Des too much - have been so many individual errors leading to soft goals conceded recently - players need to reset which they're failing to do. Just seems to be a lack of concentration.

Only criticism of him is when we're in front, we're not continuing to put pressure on the opposition when we have momentum.

As much as some like to blame Des for everything, the players have to take responsibility for that.

Not having that cutting edge when 1-0 up, giving up possession to make it 1-1, then that absolute mess to make it 2-2.

The constant negativety of this team does my head in ! We go 1 up playing pretty well and do as we've done numerous times lately .... sit back and its then 1 all . All imputous lost. We go 2 -1 up then as per oxford sam long has to go backwards like we constantly do with a ridiculous pass and there it is. Absolutely pissed off.

Well suppose at least Goodwin got his first goal for us and Murphy continuing his goal form.

How can you blame Des for tonight? We’ve played well bar two awful defensive mistakes.
Maybe as soon as drop his mate he’s been a liability since coming back from injury and no one goal from him won’t cut it. He kept Bodin on but took of arguably our best player in Murphy

Absolutely unforgivable what I have just witnessed. There are a few poor, stupid, indecisive men in a yellow shirt. It’s so frustrating to watch every week. But they don’t or can’t learn.

And this oissing anout passing back will catch us out again been saying that since we caught the fakes twice in the same season m.
